Autoplay: This is possibly one of the simplest autoplay features we’ve seen. Just place your bets, choose the number of spins (10, 20, 50 or 100) and then you can sit back and watch the results roll in – it’s our favourite way to play. We set it up for 50 spins and had a fantastic run of luck. Within 10 spins we hit 5 straight-up winners for a €72 payout each time. Add those to the long list of Corners and Splits we landed and by the end we’d won well over €600!
0/00 Rule: This version has a rule that works similarly to La Partage featured in French Roulette. If the winning number is 0 or 00, half of your bet is returned.
Delete Bet: If you’ve misclicked or want to alter your current picks, pressing ‘Delete Bet’ removes your last selection. Also, holding the button down for a few seconds completely clears the betting mat.
History: The results history, which keeps track of the last 10 winning numbers, is displayed on a separate page with the Roulette wheel. It’s a very basic feature and we would have preferred more detailed statistics to help us adjust our strategy and place more informed bets as we played.
American Roulette Verdict
R.Franco Games’ American Roulette does the basics well. The game is well-presented and includes several useful features to help you manage your time at the table. We found it extremely easy to play and especially liked the inclusion of the 0/00 rule – money back on losing bets is always helpful! However, without racetrack betting or a custom bets feature, we don’t really think it’s going to appeal to more experienced players.
Still, American Roulette has plenty of potential thanks to its €2,500 maximum bet, which should be great news to anyone who’s looking to win big at the table. Plus, with the 0/00 rule boosting the game’s RTP to 97% from the standard 94.74%, you have a much better chance to win!
