Game Features

Classic Roulette doesn’t offer any special bonus features. Instead, it focuses on delivering straightforward and traditional European Roulette gameplay, and it does it well. Even though you can’t trigger any in-game features for a chance to win big Roulette payouts, the game still comes with several useful tools that you can make use of to better manage your time at the table.

Quick Chips Function: Like other Golden Rock Studios games, Classic Roulette comes with a Quick Chips Function. This allows you to easily place multiple chips across the betting mat by clicking and sliding over your chosen selections. It’s great if you want to play with more table coverage but if you prefer more precise betting patterns you’ll be better off making individual selections.

Racetrack: The on-screen racetrack view lets you place special bets easily. You can wager on Neighbours, Voisin du Zéro, Orphelines and Tyres du Cylindre simply by clicking one button. The game will then automatically mark your selections using your chosen chip size.

Turbo Mode: If you want faster gameplay, you can enable Turbo Mode from within the settings menu to generate instant results. As soon as you press spin, the ball will land in one of the 37 pockets and produce the winning number. We love fast spins, it’s just our thing. So, right from the off, we turned this setting on and it did exactly what we wanted it to do – there was no waiting around. All that we would say is keep an eye on your account balance. Yes, the wins can roll in much quicker, but Turbo Mode can also quickly drain your cash. It’s just something to bear in mind.

Results History and Statistics: Even though a Roulette wheel has no memory, it’s always nice to be able to take a look at previous results. Classic Roulette displays a statistics overlay on the right-hand side of the screen which shows 5 hot and cold numbers, a percentage breakdown of various betting options and a wheel that charts the frequency of each winning number. Of course, past results won’t influence future spins but it’s a great way to keep track of how your session is going.

Classic Roulette Verdict

Sometimes, we just want a classic table game that does the job and that’s what Classic Roulette delivers. It’s a simple but effective European version that offers authentic Roulette gameplay with no fuss. You pick your bets, place your chips and hope that you’re a winner.

That’s not to say the game doesn’t have any standout features. We did like the inclusion of an on-screen racetrack and the Quick Chips Function. It made placing bets an easy task. All that we would say though is that it’s a shame that Classic Roulette doesn’t have an option to create and save custom bets. It may only be a slight omission but it’s one that we believe more experienced players will miss. Nevertheless, we were able to use the features that the game had to offer to land some superb wins. We went through a great spell of landing some of our straight-up bets, earning €36 for each of our €10 wagers. Our best win, however, was thanks to a combination of a straight up selection of number 14, with corners and splits included. Again, we stuck to our €10 limit but this time we were jumping for joy when we saw that we’d won €116 – a bit of luck and a cracking return!

Still, in our opinion, it’s a solid game that offers a great online Roulette experience. So, if you’re looking for a no-nonsense Roulette game, you should definitely consider Golden Rock Studios’ Classic Roulette.
