American Roulette Review

iSoftBet has gone for a pretty straightforward experience with American Roulette. We enjoyed the variety of features on offer, particularly the statistics board and group bets, which helped us keep track of our progress and allowed us to place riskier wagers. Other than that, the game throws in some intuitive functions like Undo, Clear Bet, Re-bet, Double Bet and Autoplay.

Undo: This function quite literally undoes your last move. You could spam the button until you clear the table, or you could simply go for the Clear Bet option instead.

Clear Bet: Rather than having you tediously undo all your previous moves to clear the table, the Clear Bet removes all your chips with the click of a button. It’s a simple, but incredibly useful function to have on board.

Re-bet: If you just want to replicate your previous bet, go for the Re-bet button. It resets the table to the same setup you had before you hit the spin button.

Double Bet: Happy with all the chips you placed but want to push your bets a bit further? The double bet function doubles all of your wagers on the table. Sure, these are all pretty standard features you find in most roulette games. But they’ve been put together really well here, with clear icons that help you find what you need in no time at all.

Autoplay: Rather than having us hit the spin button on every round, the autoplay function lets us set the game to run for a specific number of rounds. Of course, your wagers cannot be changed for the duration of autoplay, but the feature proved to be invaluable whenever we decided to stick to a particular wagering pattern.

Statistics Board: Although it’s certainly not the most detailed history board we’ve ever seen, American Roulette’s statistics board still delivers plenty of information on how your game is progressing. It gives you a rundown of the last numbers that hit and even splits the board into hot and cold numbers. The statistics board is the kind of advanced feature that more experienced players will appreciate, and it helped us form our strategies during our time with the game.

Group Bets: The group bets function opens up a racetrack pop-up view which allows you to place a whole new set of wagers, including neighbour bets. Although it does open up more betting opportunities, the feature isn’t implemented very well, and the pop-up view feels flimsy at best.
